This Emmy Award Nominee for Best Comedy, tells the story of Alona, a 49-year-old widowed screenwriter, a woman who would rather drop dead than embrace “The Change”, struggling to raise her three children (22, 17 & 11).

Alona has two important goals to achieve before she turns 50. First, to sign a development deal for a comedy series she wants to write about 50-year-old women. Second, to have sex. By the end of the first season, she achieves one of the two.

Created by renowned novelist and screenwriter Yael Hedaya, who has written for the acclaimed Israeli TV drama series “Betipul” (In Treatment), and directed by award-winning director Daphna Levine, one of the creators of Euphoria which was adapted by HBO.
